My Background
Imām Ahmad Khan, a dedicated Houston native, has invested well over a decade in serving and fortifying the broader Houston community. Holding pivotal roles in significant Islamic Centers, he now leads efforts to establish Rosenberg’s first Islamic Dawah Center as Chairperson & Resident Scholar of Rosenberg Community Center.
Imām Ahmad, a Hafidh of the Qur’an, completed a diploma of tajwīd wa al-qirā’ah from Dār al-ʿUlūm Faisalabad and graduated as valedictorian from Zaytuna College under the tutelage of esteemed scholars such as Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, Imam Zaid Shakir, and Shaykh Abdullah Ali.
In addition to his community leadership, Imām Ahmad serves as the Muslim Chaplain at Rice University, where he supports students in their spiritual development and campus life. He also mentors both emerging and seasoned professionals, guiding them in harmonizing their spiritual values with everyday life. Through numerous programs tailored for young professionals, he fosters pragmatic spiritual growth, addressing real-world challenges with clarity and compassion.
His mission encompasses empowering the marginalized, rekindling family values, and nurturing interfaith unity through proactive community engagement.
